NC Associates are looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on behalf of our client based in Warrington. An ideal candidate will be one with varied Account’s experience who can come in and support their busy finance team.

Duties:


    •  Assist with preparation of management accounts
    •  Prepare, monitor, and control analysis for accruals and prepayments
    •  Reconciliation of specified nominal ledger accounts on a monthly basis
    •  Bank reconciliation's
    •  Balance sheet reconciliation's
    •  Process petty cash payments
   •  Maintaining fixed asset register
    •  Prepare VAT reconciliation’s

Essential Experience Required:

To be successful in your application for this role you MUST have the following experience

    •  Previous experience in a similar Accounts position
   •   Studying towards AAT
    •  Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
    •  Strong attention to detail

Credit Controller
£25,000 - £30,000
Fixed-term, Full-time
Liverpool (hybrid-working)

Credit Controller required to join a Charity organisation based in Liverpool. My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced Credit Controller to join their dynamic and growing finance function on a full time, fixed-term basis.
As the Credit Controller you will be supporting the Finance team whilst undertaking, managing and fulfilling credit control for a range of the organisations services and departments, alongside the various duties below:

Key responsibilities of the Credit Controller


    •  Ensure timely collection of income
    •  Resolve issues and provide support regarding slow collection cases
    •  Produce and collate debt reports
    •  Assist the Transactional Manager with cash collection, forecasting and management reports
    •  Assist with close down for month-end including accruals and prepayments
    •  Maintain and reconcile online payments
    •  Ad hoc duties as requested by the Accounts Receivable Transactional Manager

Required skills and experience of the Credit Controller


    •  Recent Credit Control/AR experience
   •   Public Sector experience (desirable not essential)
    •  Strong IT skills including Excel
    •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    •  Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
    •  Demonstrates initiative whilst able to take direction

Our client, a US Private Equity backed, high-growth business is looking for an experienced CIMA/ACCA part qualified or finalist Management Accountant to join the team. With continuous growth plans for the next few years, this is an exciting time for an ambitious accountant to join the team.

This role reports directly into a fantastic Financial Manager, who will provide a strong mentorship and support network to ensure your success in the role. The business is extremely well known for their flexible and supportive approach; they are looking for someone to join the team who is keen to build on their current experience and develop their knowledge further within management accounting.

Responsibilities include:


    •  Preparation of the global management accounts encompassing 15 trading entities in multiple currencies and locations
    •  Posting and reconciliation of accruals and prepayments
   •   Balance Sheets control account reconciliations
    •  Intercompany reconciliations and recharges across group entities
    •  Analysis of P&L activity and investigation of variances
    •  Assistance with the global audit process
    •  Review and approval of employee expenses
    •  Continuous process improvement across the group processes
    •  Ad hoc projects and duties

Experience/ skills:


    •  ACCA/CIMA part qualified or finalist, or working towards
    •  Strong commercial acumen with the ability to work with stakeholders and build     relationships
    •  Experience with complex reconciliations
    •  Ability to problem solve
    •  Excellent attention to detail
    •  Good excel skills
