Experienced Wall Paper Hanger needed to hang Muraspec wall paper in a commercial property in the Birmingham area, this project will see you into February 2023 so if you are looking for a long term contract look no further.


The Wall Paper Hanger will need to have:

•  Proven experience hanging Muraspec Wall Paper

•  Own Van + Tools

•  Own PPE

•  CSCS Card advantageous

•  Experience working on commercial properties

20 hours per week, Shift working over seven days

£23,152 - £24,337 pro rata (including shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance)


Do you have excellent organisational skills? Are you good at forward planning and keeping people informed? Do you have the ability to work under pressure? Are you confident and capable of working with sophisticated electronic rostering systems? If so you could be the person we are looking for!


We are looking for creative thinkers who can cope with pressure while finding solutions to last minute problems but who also feel just as comfortable dealing with the more routine aspects of the role.


You will be expected to:

•  Be highly organised

•  Work on your own initiative

•  Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with carers, clients and colleagues.

•  Maintain accurate records both electronically and on paper

•  Have excellent communication skills

•  Capable of ensuring the most efficient use of Home Care's staffing resource to ensure that the quality of Service delivery is maintained at all times.


You will receive appropriate training for the role and be supported by experienced colleagues and management. You will be listened to and appreciated; any ideas and suggestions about the role will be readily accepted and openly discussed.

Ideally you should hold a minimum of SVQ 2 or equivalent level qualification in business administration or customer care or have clear evidence of working for at least two years in a similar post.

Job No 3 ( Master Technician )


Salary

£22.00

Master Technician Plymouth *£22.00 per hour


If you’re a Craft Technician looking for your next step, then we may have just the job for you!


The successful applicants will undergo training, following recognised modular training programmes with the current suppliers of vehicle chassis/bodies to Stagecoach UK Bus. Successful completion will lead to a Quality Assured Programme certificate being awarded by the Institute of the Motor Industry.


The modular training will take place over 12 - 18 months at various training establishments across the UK.

You will also be responsible for supervising a team of staff including maintenance/service technicians, coach makers, electricians, cleaners/shunters, clerks, stores personnel and contractors and also be responsible for the garage premises, plant and equipment.


The successful applicants must possess the following:

•   A minimum level 3 S/NVQ or equivalent qualification in LGV, HGV or PSV engineering.

•   Must be capable of achieving a S/NVQ Level 3 in a different discipline to their current trade, one of which must be an Automotive Electrical S/NVQ Level 3 (if applicable)

•   The candidate’s application must be supported by their current Engineering Manager.

•   Candidates must have a satisfactory attendance and performance record.


The successful candidate will also be expected to satisfy the following:

1. Successfully pass a technical multiple choice question paper

2. Interview with the Engineering Director

3. Provide up to 40 hours per annum continuous professional development

4. Attend any prerequisite courses prior to attending specific technician programme courses

5. Complete business improvement mini-project as part of programme

6. Attend regular progress reviews with ED or EM 7. Ability to gain a PCV licence
